Our founder, Timothy Jones, is a male survivor of military sexual trauma. Mr. Jones’s healing journey started twenty four years ago. Mr. Jones received support after he reported the incident. The decision to report was incredulous. With support from my manager the report was made. I didn’t want to report from fear of what could happen. The stigma that surrounds sexual assault was prevalent then. That stigma plays out today with 16% of male service members reporting sexual assault in FY 2021 compared to 33% percent of female service ones.

The DOD is working to professionalize the victim response workforce. Professionalization of means the Department of Defense and services will no longer need to rely on military members who may be doing the same work as collateral duty. The Colorful Voices Advantage
Our key advantages over our alternatives. Mr. West, has experience in engaging with advocates and survivors of sexual assault. Mr. West, however is not a survivor, and can not speak specifically to the survivors journey. That is a critical aspect that every military base and command look for. Being a person of color that is member of the LGBTQ community immediately establishes Colorful Voices credibility. apart.
Unlike PAAR and Hush No More, Colorful Voices is a for-profit entity. Colorful Voices is registered to conduct business with the United Nations.
