Ownership and Structure

History

  • Colorful Voices is a Limited Liability Corporation insured up to two million dollars.

The journey of Colorful Voices began in 2015 as a sole proprietorship in Florida. Founder Timothy Jones was an attendee of “Startup Weekend”, in Pensacola, Florida. Here, Timothy pitched “Colorful Voices”, as a social app for victims, survivors and advocates. Although we were in the top three we did not take home the prize. Afterward, the company pivoted. At that time there was not a large spotlight for survivors of sexual assault.  It was here that Mr. Jones started to pursue speaking opportunities.

Mr. Jones knew that there was a market for survivors. Especially survivors of color. The services had not yet caught up to the ever evolving demand. What we were not prepared for was the demand for our services. Our initial projection was to complete 6 trainings. We exceeded that target completing over 20 trainings. In 2017, Mr. Jones, completed a move to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was here that Colorful Voices in its original formation was dissolved. Between 2018-2021, Colorful Voices, had not operated due as Mr. Jones got settled. Then COVID came.

On March 27, 2023, Colorful Voices takes it next step with the soft launch of our first brand Timothy M. Jones. We will also debut our community outreach initiative, “Hope Healing in Action”, which is a distinguished speaker series. Colorful Voices, is just getting started. Our future is now.
